Cairo (CNN) -Egypt swallowed up in the tension of fixed capital on Tuesday, as the security forces and demonstrators clash and demonstrators on the March “Million women” Muslims against the regime and the assault on the citizens.
Security holding batons, firearms and tear gas at demonstrators defied Tuesday’s fifth consecutive day of clashes in Cairo’s Tahrir Square, a witness told CNN.
Sherif Barakat, a businessman, heard machine gun fire in the morning and saw the riots from the balcony of his home in the Tahrir Square. He saw the power of security costs, fired tear gas and beat people with batons.
“Both sides exchanged heavy rock until the military stepped down,” he said. “They kept the protesters at Bay away from the center of clashes on Sheikh Rihan Street close to the Ministry of the Interior for two hours until they were reinforced with concrete walls erected two days back with more blocks, then they withdraw.”
Nazly Hussein, an activist, said the troops stormed the square before dawn with a number of “shocking” firepower.
