A large community service by Comcast. Now, allow school districts to make students participate in a valuable life lesson and require students and/or their parents to sign up for some kind of civil service to be eligible for this substantially reduced price. Nothing is free, or even close to it, in this life. If poor students allowed internet and net book at the cost of reduced, we are paying full price picked up the slack and much more. They have to give something back to our community for this privilege.
Nice; I agree completely. Parents and students must participate in some type of community service.
I guess we are barely able to service now better get ready for “other” price increases.
It is very true. The company will never allow themselves to do something that will make them lose money. There is no such thing as altruism for them like getting paid by the rest of us with higher costs or tax write offs. I could barely afford the service myself, but I would feel a smidgen better if the recipient is highly discounted services and equipment “pay it forward” somehow.
“A survey a few years ago showed less than 50 per cent of families have a computer at home, he said.”
